When Noelle finished her soup, she saw Oliver, who was standing at the door and hesitating if he should come in. 

She glanced at him and said, “Come in.” 

“Ms. Swanson, I really had no idea,” said Oliver the moment he came in. “Mr. Garcia forced me to leave last night. He said you wanted to talk to Mr. Freeman. I swear I had no idea he would use such a despicable method!” 

Oliver sounded like he was wronged. 

Noelle did not blame him, either. She said, “Call Julio and tell him that I want to see him.” 

“Now?” 

“Yes, now.” 

Noelle sounded sure, so Oliver didn’t dare to ask anything else. 

When Julio arrived, Noelle asked Oliver and the caretaker to leave. 

Julio did not feel like he had done anything wrong. Instead, he seemed to be in a bad mood because his plan did not succeed. 

“Was it you who laced my drinks with drugs?” Noelle asked 

Julio glanced at her and just grinned. “I don’t know what you mean.” 

“I was admitted to the hospital last night. The doctor is fully aware of my condition, and the test results speak for themselves. There’s no way to deny it. If it wasn’t you, then it must have been Hendrix.” Noelle’s tone was calm. 

Julio remained silent, his brows slowly knitting together. 

“I will do my utmost to secure the Continental Reach project,” Noelle continued. “However, I expect you to apply for a transfer out of Vinton.” 

“What did you just say?” 

“Did I not make myself clear enough?” She blinked. “Didn’t you say it yourself? The Continental Reach project is about the interests of the entire group. But if it’s my personal sacrifice that secured this deal, why should you get a share of the rewards? 

“Once the confirmation of the cooperation comes through, the company will undoubtedly prioritize this project as its key focus for the year. However, this work clearly no longer requires you, and thus, there is no reason for you to remain here. I’m doing this for your own good.” 

After she finished speaking, Julio fell into a heavy silence. while later, he laughed. “So, it seems this is your plan. Noelle, you’re so confident that-” 

“That’s none of your business,” Noelle cut him off. “Of course, you can ignore my suggestion. I don’t mind having bad blood with Hendrix…” 

Julio didn’t say anything, and his face darkened. 

“If you are hesitant, why don’t you consult Mr. Swanson? Let’s see who he considers more important–you or the Continental Reach project.” 

Julio finally couldn’t help but laugh. “Noelle, you really are something. But don’t get too confident. For a project as big as the Continental Reach, if there’s even the slightest mistake, I’d like to see how you clean up the mess!”
