After Craig stared at her, he said, “Did you not contact those from Amity Group?” 

“Not for now, but I will…” 

“This is the email I received just now. Have a look,” Craig cut her off and handed her the documents. 

Noelle found it strange but still took the documents from him. When she saw the contents of the papers, her face paled.

It was a message from Amity Group. After listing Noelle’s credentials in detail, they stated bluntly that they couldn’t entrust such a significant project to her and requested that Elm Group appoint a different person in charge. 

“This project has been mine from the start,” Noelle said through gritted teeth. “I finalized and verified every step of the process. Now, they’re saying I don’t have enough experience and want to replace me. Isn’t that a joke?” 

Although the project was something Hendrix had handed to her directly, all the proposals, internal design plans, and data analysis had been completed by her and her team. 

She lacked experience, which was why she had to pour 200% of her effort into every part of the process. During that period, she worked overtime so much that she was only sleeping four or five hours a night. 

She knew that everyone in the company believed she only got the project because of Hendrix. That was why she wanted to prove herself to everyone and to prove that Hendrix’s decision wasn’t wrong. 

But now, all her effort and hopes had been crushed completely. 

“I’m not convinced,” Noelle said through gritted teeth. “Why should they be allowed to replace me just because they want to? Even if they think I’m not up to the task, shouldn’t that be based on me actually making a mistake? 

“Replacing me when I haven’t done anything wrong, what kind of joke is that?”
