Chapter 441
“I’ve already seen it before,” Noelle replied.
“I’ve seen it, too! But every time I see it, I get emotional all over again,” Seline said as she grabbed another tissue.
Noelle merely lowered her head and took a sip of water.
“It’s getting late, isn’t it?” Seline suddenly remembered something. “Should I take you home?”
“No, it’s okay.” Noelle’s eyes remained fixed on the flickering television screen.
“What do you mean? Did you two have a fight?” Selene asked, then suddenly thought of something. “Or did you ask him about what I told you yesterday?”
Noelle glanced at her but said nothing.
“So, he really-”
Before Seline could finish, the doorbell rang.
She paused, slightly surprised. “Who could it be at this hour?”
Noelle didn’t answer.
Seline immediately caught on. “It’s Hendrix, isn’t it? Well, you can open the door yourself, then.”
“I don’t know.”
Noelle glanced at the time and was about to get up when Seline suddenly pressed her back down.
“Forget it. I’ll go. You stay put.”
With that, Seline headed straight for the entryway.
To set the mood for the movie, she had only left a single floor lamp on in the living room. So, by the time she reached the entryway, the lighting was noticeably dim.
Just as she opened the door, the motion sensor light outside flickered on.
Hendrix appeared before her. Tall and imposing, his silhouette was a looming shadow in the dim light, causing Seline to jump in fright.
Seline froze for a moment before rolling her eyes in exasperation. “Mr. Freeman, did you come here so late at night just to scare me?”
“Is Noelle here?” Hendrix’s voice was tight with tension.

Like how the story is progressing now but why is the author only releasing 3 chapters at a time? this is torture😩😩...
Woah chapters 41-45 is intense!! Good to see Noelle’s character who has come across as mostly detached actually express emotion....
I find Noelle’s character so frustrating, she comes across lacking any true emotion. The chapters where Rosie was missing was probably the most where we have seen some strong outward emotion shown. Dreading these next few chapters if she is going to do something drastic to “go find Seline” The author has taken us on a rollercoaster with these characters. The novel feels like it is at a stage now where they can come full circle....
A good change of pace and story in the last 10 chapters. Good to see the shift in Hendrix’s character (more patience) to win over Noelle and Rosie. Hope we start to see them warm up to him. Please no crazy twist where he loses them again. Have enjoyed this story and looking forward to its wrap up👨👩👧...

I have been in love with this novel but I don’t know how much patience I have to wait until the to finish line. Dear Author, can you atleast give us some idea about how long is this going to be or if there’s any turning point coming soon. And it would be great if you could upload at least 10 chapters at once. 5 chapters is making me more impatience with the anticipation of the further story of novel🙈...
I really hope there is a turning point in this story where Noelle starts to show some interest in Hendrix...
