Seline was determined to play the role of a matchmaker to the end. When Rosie had had enough fun, she suddenly claimed she had an urgent matter to attend to and had to leave. Thus, the task of taking Noelle and Rosie home fell to Dylan.
Her intentions were far too obvious. To Noelle, her act even seemed a bit clumsy. But Dylan didn't call her out. Instead, he accepted the task graciously and even thanked Seline sincerely.
Seline raised an eyebrow at him and whispered a few words to Rosie before leaving.
Noelle could tell Seline hadn't taught Rosie anything good, so on the way back, she tried her best to distract Rosie, hoping she'd forget about it.
But Rosie was a child with a strong sense of responsibility. Eventually, she seized an opportunity and asked Dylan, "Mr. Pritchett, when you have the time, can I go out with you again?"
Her question was very straightforward.
She stared intently at Dylan, who was momentarily taken aback. But then, he smiled and said, "Of course."
Rosie immediately beamed with joy at his answer. Noelle, on the other hand, felt resigned.
Just then, they arrived at Sienna Villa.
Rosie even remembered to bid goodbye to Dylan. "Bye-bye, Mr. Pritchett! See you next time! Remember you promised to take me out again!"
"Okay! Goodbye!"
Dylan got out of the car, and after glancing at the villa, said nothing more. Instead, he simply smiled at Rosie.
Only then did Noelle lead Rosie inside.
The night was still young, but Beatrice had a habit of going to bed early. So at that moment, there were only a couple of household staff around.

Woah chapters 41-45 is intense!! Good to see Noelle’s character who has come across as mostly detached actually express emotion....
I find Noelle’s character so frustrating, she comes across lacking any true emotion. The chapters where Rosie was missing was probably the most where we have seen some strong outward emotion shown. Dreading these next few chapters if she is going to do something drastic to “go find Seline” The author has taken us on a rollercoaster with these characters. The novel feels like it is at a stage now where they can come full circle....
A good change of pace and story in the last 10 chapters. Good to see the shift in Hendrix’s character (more patience) to win over Noelle and Rosie. Hope we start to see them warm up to him. Please no crazy twist where he loses them again. Have enjoyed this story and looking forward to its wrap up👨👩👧...

I have been in love with this novel but I don’t know how much patience I have to wait until the to finish line. Dear Author, can you atleast give us some idea about how long is this going to be or if there’s any turning point coming soon. And it would be great if you could upload at least 10 chapters at once. 5 chapters is making me more impatience with the anticipation of the further story of novel🙈...
I really hope there is a turning point in this story where Noelle starts to show some interest in Hendrix...
