Rosie looked at Hendrix, then at Noelle.
Finally, she answered, "The carousel."
"Just the carousel? Have you tried the space tunnel? Or the pirate ship? What about the roller coaster? There's also a special stage show. Would you like to take photos and interact with the sea lions?"
Hendrix had experience in the amusement park business as well. Even though he had never personally spent much time at one, he was now rattling off various rides and activities with ease.
"You like Simba, right?" Hendrix suddenly remembered the lion plushie she had. "There's a stage show about that. I can take you to see it."
Though Noelle didn't want to think of him that way, at this moment, Hendrix seemed like a devil who was trying to tempt Rosie.
And as her mother, Noelle could naturally sense Rosie's resolve wavering. Especially when the little girl heard about the stage show—her eyes lit up instantly.
It was something Rosie had always wanted to watch. But the last time they went to the amusement park, they had missed the show due to timing.
Not to mention, Rosie had never tried all the thrilling rides Hendrix mentioned because Noelle didn't like them. And not wanting to make her comfortable, Rosie had never brought them up.
But now…
Before Rosie could hesitate further, Hendrix added, "If you want to go, I'll take you. The stage show is really good. I'm sure you've never seen it before."
Only then did Rosie slowly turn to look at Noelle. Her pleading look was something Noelle couldn't refuse. And to be honest, Noelle still hoped that Rosie could get along with Hendrix.

Woah chapters 41-45 is intense!! Good to see Noelle’s character who has come across as mostly detached actually express emotion....
I find Noelle’s character so frustrating, she comes across lacking any true emotion. The chapters where Rosie was missing was probably the most where we have seen some strong outward emotion shown. Dreading these next few chapters if she is going to do something drastic to “go find Seline” The author has taken us on a rollercoaster with these characters. The novel feels like it is at a stage now where they can come full circle....
A good change of pace and story in the last 10 chapters. Good to see the shift in Hendrix’s character (more patience) to win over Noelle and Rosie. Hope we start to see them warm up to him. Please no crazy twist where he loses them again. Have enjoyed this story and looking forward to its wrap up👨👩👧...

I have been in love with this novel but I don’t know how much patience I have to wait until the to finish line. Dear Author, can you atleast give us some idea about how long is this going to be or if there’s any turning point coming soon. And it would be great if you could upload at least 10 chapters at once. 5 chapters is making me more impatience with the anticipation of the further story of novel🙈...
I really hope there is a turning point in this story where Noelle starts to show some interest in Hendrix...
