Two months had passed since their last visit, and the mangoes in Sienna Villa had indeed ripened.
Rosie had been craving them for a while. She loved standing under the tree, tilting her head back to count the fruits one by one.
Today, as soon as they arrived, she insisted on picking the mangoes herself. Beatrice, who always indulged her, immediately had someone bring over a ladder and made sure there were people to support her as she climbed.
"Be careful," Beatrice said, standing nearby with a furrowed brow. "Don't go too fast. Yes, just pick the one at the bottom."
It was true Beatrice doted on Rosie, but so was her concern for her at that moment. Only when Rosie successfully picked a mango and climbed down did Beatrice finally let out a sigh of relief.
As soon as Rosie climbed down the ladder, she didn't even wait to steady herself before running over, clutching her hard-earned prize.
"Mommy, this is for you!" Her face was glistening with sweat, but her smile was radiant. She fixed her gaze intently on Noelle.
Noelle quickly reached out to take the mango. "Thank you."
"I'm going to pick one for Grandma, too!"
After saying that, Rosie turned and ran back to the mango tree.
Still worried, Beatrice said, "No, Rosie. You don't have to pick one for me."
"No! I want to pick one for Grandma!"
Unable to stop her, Beatrice turned to the household staff. "Don't just stand there! Hurry over there and make sure she doesn't fall!"
Noelle couldn't help but laugh at how anxious Beatrice was. Then, she said in a relaxed manner, "Don't worry. The tree isn't that tall, and there's a mat underneath. Plus, there are so many people around. So, she won't fall."
Beatrice shot her a reproachful look. "If she really falls, it'll be too late. You're really too laid-back as a mother."

Woah chapters 41-45 is intense!! Good to see Noelle’s character who has come across as mostly detached actually express emotion....
I find Noelle’s character so frustrating, she comes across lacking any true emotion. The chapters where Rosie was missing was probably the most where we have seen some strong outward emotion shown. Dreading these next few chapters if she is going to do something drastic to “go find Seline” The author has taken us on a rollercoaster with these characters. The novel feels like it is at a stage now where they can come full circle....
A good change of pace and story in the last 10 chapters. Good to see the shift in Hendrix’s character (more patience) to win over Noelle and Rosie. Hope we start to see them warm up to him. Please no crazy twist where he loses them again. Have enjoyed this story and looking forward to its wrap up👨👩👧...

I have been in love with this novel but I don’t know how much patience I have to wait until the to finish line. Dear Author, can you atleast give us some idea about how long is this going to be or if there’s any turning point coming soon. And it would be great if you could upload at least 10 chapters at once. 5 chapters is making me more impatience with the anticipation of the further story of novel🙈...
I really hope there is a turning point in this story where Noelle starts to show some interest in Hendrix...
