Dylan had originally promised Noelle that he would wrap up the situation with Dyno Corporation within a month. He had even booked tickets to a seaside amusement park in advance, saying he wanted to bring Rosie there.
Rosie had been looking forward to it for a long time and even asked Noelle to take her to the mall to buy a new swimsuit. But two days before the planned trip, Dylan suddenly called Noelle to say he wouldn't be able to keep his promise.
"There's an investor from abroad I need to meet. If the deal goes through, there might still be a chance to turn things around, so…"
Dylan's voice carried a hint of guilt.
But Noelle quickly smiled and said, "It's fine. You go ahead and do what you have to do. I can take Rosie by myself."
"I can arrange for someone to go with you. It'll be too tiring for you to handle it alone."
"It's okay. I've managed on my own before, haven't I?" Noelle said, her tone light. "So, is there a chance to save the company?"
Dylan could hear the joy in her voice. He knew she wasn't concerned about the company itself—she was genuinely happy for him.
After all, no matter what kind of life he preferred, the effort he had poured into Dyno Corporation was real. Thus, no matter what, it shouldn't have ended like this.
Influenced by Noelle's optimism, Dylan let out a soft chuckle. "Maybe, but it's not certain yet."
"That's okay. At least there's hope now," Noelle said. "Where are you going for the meeting?"
"Kaelica. The flight's already booked."
"Okay. Stay safe."
"I will. I'll bring some gifts back for you and Rosie, okay?"

Woah chapters 41-45 is intense!! Good to see Noelle’s character who has come across as mostly detached actually express emotion....
I find Noelle’s character so frustrating, she comes across lacking any true emotion. The chapters where Rosie was missing was probably the most where we have seen some strong outward emotion shown. Dreading these next few chapters if she is going to do something drastic to “go find Seline” The author has taken us on a rollercoaster with these characters. The novel feels like it is at a stage now where they can come full circle....
A good change of pace and story in the last 10 chapters. Good to see the shift in Hendrix’s character (more patience) to win over Noelle and Rosie. Hope we start to see them warm up to him. Please no crazy twist where he loses them again. Have enjoyed this story and looking forward to its wrap up👨👩👧...

I have been in love with this novel but I don’t know how much patience I have to wait until the to finish line. Dear Author, can you atleast give us some idea about how long is this going to be or if there’s any turning point coming soon. And it would be great if you could upload at least 10 chapters at once. 5 chapters is making me more impatience with the anticipation of the further story of novel🙈...
