We‘re working together on something, so doesn‘t that put us in the same boat?” Cameron raised to her feet and put the lizard back into the cage. “Besides, you‘ve crushed the Parkin Chamber of Commerce and taken all the assets that Fabio gained in the past. I don‘t think it‘s outrageous for me to take $1,500,000 from you, right?”

Waylon placed his arm on the armrest and looked at her. “So, you‘re the one who got the short end of the stick?”
