Chapter 2207 Unexpectedly, there wasn‘t any pain. Cameron opened her eyes and realized that she was lying on top of Waylon. A sponge mat was under them, seemingly placed there in case things went wrong. Cameron slowly snapped back. “You...”
Waylon suddenly flipped over, held her under him, and then looked down at her. “Fell off the ring. You lost.”
She paused for a long moment. “You did that intentionally?” He smiled and didn‘t speak.
Cameron pushed him away and sat up. “You didn‘t win either.”
Waylon chuckled. “I didn‘t say I had to win. I just bet that you would lose.”
Cameron was rendered speechless because she felt like she had been tricked. She punched Waylon on the shoulder, which made him fall back onto the mat as if he was really hurt.
Cameron realized she had used too much force, so she quickly checked on him. “Hey, are you alright?”
He didn‘t speak.
Cameron was worried, so she put out her hand to check his shoulder. He grabbed her wrist and pulled her into his arms, which made Cameron fall in because she wasn‘t expecting it.
Staring at this face that was inches away, she stopped breathing and pressed her lips together. Waylon‘s breath wrapped around her, and his lips were so close they almost kissed. “Are you worried about me?”
Cameron‘s palms that were pushed against his chest were sweating while her heart thumped as though it would stop any minute.

Her lips became dry, and she gulped. An ambiguous relationship felt even more intense than a straightforward one. Waylon suddenly held her up and broke the ambiguity. He was very good at controlling the emotional distance. “You owe me a condition.”
She was confused. “What condition?”
Waylon stood up. “I haven’t figured that out yet. It‘s getting late, so get some rest.”
He stretched out his hand toward her.
Cameron pushed it aside and got up by herself. “Sinister, cunning.”
