Chapter 2449
Colton turned his head to look at her. “Why? You don’t want others to see me? Am I not presentable?”
Freyja had never introduced him to her classmates ever since he came to Yaramoor. Every time he came to pick her up at the university, he needed to keep a very low profile.
‘Does she think I’m ugly or what?‘
Freyja was stunned. “Have I ever said that before?”
“You didn’t say that before, but who knows what’s on your mind.” Colton leaned on the back of the seat and said sulkily, “Every time, you just leave me at home and go out to have fun with your classmates. Why don’t you introduce me to them? You women are all the same. Even though you’re married, you still want to live a single life.”
Freyja chuckled and held his hand. “It’s not that I don’t want to introduce you to my classmate, and it’s definitely not because you’re not presentable.”
Colton pulled his hand out of her grip and looked outside of the window. “Then what is it?”
Freyja leaned against the back of the seat and said, “You’re so handsome. What if my classmates fall in love with you? I don’t want to invite any trouble to myself.”
Colton squinted and gripped her chin. “So, you think that I’ll bring you trouble.”
She pushed his hand away. “Are we leaving or not?”
Colton harrumphed and started the car.
Soon, he stopped the car in front of a restaurant.
Freyja was stunned and asked, “I thought we were going back?”
Colton unbuckled his seatbelt and said, “I feel like eating out today.”
After that, he got out of his car.
Freyja couldn’t help herself and chuckled. After getting out of the car, she saw him extending his arm at her. After realizing what he was going to do, she put her hand on his arm and said, “Don’t you think you’re a bit too childish?”
“So?”
They entered the restaurant and sat by the window. The waiter came over to them with a menu in his hand and said, “What would you like to order today?”
Colton took over the menu. He lifted his eyelids to look at the person in front of him and
ordered a few dishes.
Freyja was stunned as all of the dishes he ordered were her favorites.
“Thank you.” She took over the bouquet of roses with a smile on her face and held it with her arms. The roses were red as fire and brilliant as sunshine. They signified endless life.
