After Daisie was fully dressed, she walked out while holding up her dress. She stopped a server in the corridor and asked, “Do you know where Nollace is?”

The man pointed in a direction.

Daisie walked to the room where Nolalce was. She saw that the door wasn’t closed, so she carefully pushed it and went in. Nollace was in his suit and stood under the light. The server helped him put on his cape. It looked elegant and grand, like he was in a painting.

Nollace saw her through the reflection and waved for the man to leave them.

She snapped back into reality when he walked toward her and stopped in front of her. “Why are you sneaking around?”

Daisie smiled. “To peek at you.”

“Do I look good?”

“Yes.”

She was so mesmerized by his beauty she couldn’t think.

Nollace’s lips curled as he pulled her into his arms, then kissed her on her red lips. “You look great too.”

Her ears turned red, and she grumbled, “You’re going to eat away my lipstick.”

He smiled. “Doesn’t matter. You still look good.”
