Louis picked up his teacup. “Next week? But I heard that his wedding was on the 9th?”

Nolan raised his brows. “What can we do? We delayed it to the middle of the month. Valentine’s Day is a good day for a wedding too, right?”

Louis paused, then chuckled and slowly sipped the tea. “That’s true. February 14th is a good day.”

“Who’s having a wedding on Valentine’s Day? Wayne?” Ryleigh walked in with some pastries.

Louis smiled. “Who else other than your godson?”

“That’s nice.” She placed the dishes on the table. “We’re going back during that time. We can’t miss his wedding.”

One week later…

Waylon returned to Bassburgh with Colton after getting discharged from the hospital.

Cameron, Maísie, and Freyja were all at the airport, waiting for them.
