Vivi glanced at Julius, leaned in, and whispered, “I bought them from someone backstage just now.”
They were electronic light sticks that could display different words. No one would refuse money. She had slipped away and bought two with a hefty price, writing Quiana’s name on them.
Julius glanced at them, then his gaze returned to Quiana on stage. His long, thick lashes trembled slightly, and his pupils were intensely brown.
“Wow!” At that moment, a series of exclamations came from beside him.
On stage, Quiana moved gracefully, perfectly in sync with the others, showing an incredible sense of rhythm. Even though she was holding back and following the others‘ choreography, her innate presence and the aura she exuded made every move she made incredibly cool.
Alina’s eyes widened. “She’s about to sing! She’s about to sing!”
The people behind them also stood up, a few of them particularly excited. Amid the bustling crowd, Julius placed his hand on his leg but didn’t stand up, his gaze fixed on the stage. Zack and the others held their breath.
Quiana was the last to perform her solo. Technically, it was just a few words, a part of the song’s lyrics divided equally among the performers to give each one a chance to shine.
Quiana was originally in the fifth position. After swapping with Yvette and Teresa, she was moved to the last spot. As her turn came, she stepped forward. Her eyebrows and eyes were beautifully defined, her expression cool and ethereal, her presence otherworldly.
ha’s lips parted slightly, “In the vast expanse, cold blades pierce the sky…
Three lines, several characters. Her voice was clear and pure, her breathing steady. As soon as she started singing, a tingling sensation ran through the audience’s minds, sending shivers down their spines. It was a soul–stirring performance. Everyone was excited from the first note.
The other girls sang well too, but as soon as Quiana started, she transported the entire stage into a world of martial arts, exuding a powerful and chivalrous aura.
“Wow!”
“Wow! So cool!”
At that moment, Quiana lightly touched her toes and performed a backflip from a platform more than three feet high. spinning 360 degrees in mid–air, and landing on the stage like a diver.
This was an extremely difficult move. Yet, she moved as light as a feather, landing gracefully and firmly on the stage. She drew her sword and posed, a sight that was both beautiful and awe–inspiring. Her performance was absolutely stunning
The audience erupted in screams once again. The atmosphere reached its peak, and the stage seemed to explode with excitement. The screams continued long after the performance ended.
Nolan and Vivi, holding their light sticks, shouted excitedly. Zack was dumbfounded. Shane frowned, remembering his earlier comment about her being just a pretty face, and his expression turned sour.
Alina was practically frozen in shock, her face a mix of astonishment and disbelief. She had brought Quiana here thinking it would help her gain some popularity, but she never imagined how outstanding Quiana would be.
After all, Quiana was a leader. But Alina hadn’t expected that Quiana could actually dance and sing, and do it so well. She suddenly remembered the conversation she had with Quiana earlier. Quinna had said. “A little bit, maybe.”
