Quiana wasn’t just visiting Winona on set, or there to be a background actor. She was invited by Evelyn herself.

As Quiana left with Evelyn, the crowd was left stunned. Winona was totally left out in the cold. An invited actress, coach–either title stung like a slap to her face.

Winona suddenly remembered a character in the script, Selina, a female CEO. The role wasn’t big, but it was tough, and it was still open. She’d asked the director, who’d mentioned a super–secret guest star.

“Could it really be Quiana? How could she compete? Winona fuined inside and couldn’t take the piercing looks anymore. She turned and hurried back to the set, like she was retreating in defeat.

After a beat Cassie snapped back to the reality, turned to Nolan, and asked blankly, “So, am I still the third lead?”

Nolan was speechless.

In the show, Selina, the female CEO and a friend of the heroine, keeps bailing out the esports company run by the main couple with cash when they’re in a pinch..

Quiana’s audition went off without a hitch. With a cigarette dangling from her lips, she tossed a credit card to the lead. saying, “240 million dollars, spend it how you like. Need more, just say it.”

Quiana was confident and cool, with a take–charge vibe that was even more impressive than the script’s description of a boss lady.

John and the Assistant Director were thrilled, thinking Quiana nailed Selina. Best of all, she wasn’t asking for a dime.

Hugo, watching from the wings, snorted, “This character’s got swagger, but the lines are crazy–nothing like Quiana. She won’t even spot me 24 dollars, let alone 240 million dollars,”

Evelyn flicked his forehead, feeling annoyed. “I fought hard to get this role for her, put my rep on the line, so don’t knock it.”

After they left, they ran into Winona again.

When Winona saw Quiana, she looked like she wanted to eat her alive, but there was a glint of satisfaction in her eyes.

As they passed, Hugo suddenly stopped. He looked up at Winona, serious, and said, “Mom and Dad always think of you. Even if you don’t want to admit me, you should at least visit their graves.”

Winona’s face changed fast. She quickly checked around, and when she saw they were alone, she glared at Hugo with cold. eyes, gritted her teeth, and hissed, “My parents are at the Larson residence, and they’re just fine. Keep spouting nonsense, and watch your back.”

It was a clear threat.

Watching Winona walk away, Hugo was quiet for a moment, and then muttered, “Fool”

Quiana glanced at him but kept silent.

Cassie couldn’t believe her bestie knew Evelyn and was a special guest star. When Quiana came out, Cassie’s eyes showed a mix of emotions. “Are we still friends?”
