The True Heiress Slays (Quiana) novel Chapter 90

Chapter 90

Hugo pouted. “Yesterday, we had a test. I scored perfectly in literature, Math, and Science, but they said I was cheating. I told them their questions were too easy, so they gave me the sixth–grade test,”

Hugo was currently in fifth grade.

Julius” brow furrowed. “And then?”

Hugo continued, “So, I got another perfect score. But they still said I was cheating. I told them I could’ve solved those problems years ago. Then they said I was being arrogant, gave me a middle–school test, and said I was disrespecting them.”

“And then?” Z

Zack asked, nearly choking on laughter.

Hugo blinked innocently. “I aced that one, too. Then they called me too cocky and handed me a high school exam.”

“So…” Shane asked, trying

trying to stifle a grin. “Did you pass that one too?”

Hugo nodded, dead serious. “Of course. If I didn’t, Quiana would braak my legs.”

There was a long, drawn–out silence in the office.

Zack finally recovered and managed, “So..did y you cheat?”

Hugo gave him a scornful look “With questions that easy, only an idiot would need to cheat. I’m not one

Arrogant, unyieliling, and as unapologetic as could be–just like Quiana. His fierce expression left no doubt he was cut from the same cloth.

Theroom was silent until Mr. Sullivan said, “You expect me to believe this nine year–old got a perfect score on high school exams? Mr. Hawley, do you really think he didn’t cheat?”

It’s shocking and unbelievable.

Julius smiled,

1, said with a firm tone. “I do”

Mr. Sullivan was at a loss for words.

Hugo curled his lip and added, “You had me on camera the whole time. You searched me, put ten teachers around me, and I didn’t take my hands off the paper once. So, where did I cheat?”

You…”

“Maybe you’re just bitter that my IQ is higher than yours, and you want to tear me down out of jealousy.”

“Stop saying such things!” Mr. Sullivan sputtered, thrown by the boy’s bluntness.

Hugo crossed his arms. “Exactly

Hugo rolled his eyes. You think I wanted to be here?”

This was Imperial Primary. Yet Hugo seemed utterly unimpressed. But with Julius there, no one dared to get angry.

Mr. Sullivan’s face turned red. “Well, if you feel that way, perhaps Imperial isn’t the place for you.”

15:50 Wed, 16 Apr

“Enough!” The dean’s face darkened. If Hugo were a genuine prodigy, his presence at Imperial would be invaluable, a promotional dream. But here was this fool of a teacher, ready to throw away a treasure.
