Chapter 162: Why Should I Leave?
Chapter 162: Why Should I Leave?
Unexpectedly, the young man took the lead and spoke first, saying, “You, you can leave now,”
The young man in front of her was slightly taller than Charlotte and looked down at her arrogantly, his eyes full of disdain and contempt, and his tone was filled with scorn.
It seemed that in his eyes, Charlotte was just a lower–class person to be driven away at will.
“What did you say?” Charlotte’s eyes paused at his words. She slowly raised her eyes and asked each word deliberately.
It had been a long time since she had encountered someone so uncultured.
The young man snorted coldly, exuding a rebellious aura all over his body.
He squinted slightly and asked disdainfully, “Can’t you understand human language?”
He arrogantly raised his chin and looked away, no longer paying attention to her. “I told you to leave. This room is mine from now on.”
The young man took a step with his long legs and sat directly on the nearby sofa.
It was as if he had already claimed this dorm room for himself.
He looked at Charlotte with a stern and displeased expression, feeling quite disgusted.
This ignorant country girl really didn’t know her place!
He had made himself clear, yet she still insisted on staying here.
Charlotte stood there straight, her brows icy. She spoke calmly, “Why should I leave?”
“Why?” The young man suddenly chuckled, his arrogance on his face intensifying. “Because I have connections!”
What Dylan Lightwood said was true; he indeed had connections.
His talent was mediocre, and he was quite ordinary in college. His admission to the Starry Sky Training Camp was thanks to his connections.
His parents went to great lengths, using various connections to get him into the Starry Sky Training Camp, so he could broaden his horizons here, make friends with geniuses, and maybe gain some prestige.
In the future, when he mentioned it, he could proudly say he had been to the Starry Sky Training Camp. How impressive!
But he didn’t expect to stumble on his very first day.
In the initial test, Dylan couldn’t shoot arrows or ride horses, ending up at the bottom of the entire Starry Sky Training Camp.
According to the rules, he could only live in a cave!
However, how could he possibly live in…
Accustomed to a life of comfort since childhood, making him go live in a cave was worse than killing him.
So, that’s why he had the idea of grabbing a single room.
He planned to seize a single room!
Anyway, with the backing of the higher–ups, it didn’t matter if he did something out of line.
Of course, he couldn’t just grab any single room indiscriminately.
There were some people he didn’t want to provoke, and after careful consideration, Charlotte, this soft target, seemed like the best to mess with.
He had heard she was a village girl with no significant background, living in a mountain village since childhood, and her parents had only recently found her.

The Tycoon’s Deepest Repentance
Chapter 162: Why Should I Leave?
She should be an easy target, always compliant.
Dylan looked at Charlotte with some disdain and suddenly threatened coldly, “I’m giving you a chance now. You can leave on your own. If you insist on staying, I don’t mind helping you leave!”
This single room was his to stay in.
Even though this dorm compared to his home was like a dog’s kennel.
But still, it was a hundred times better than a cave!
Charlotte pressed her lips together, remaining silent.
She looked at Dylan with a faint gaze, her expression cold and composed.
“Dylan!” Just then, a crisp female voice came from the doorway.
It was Sherry.
Seeing Sherry suddenly appear at the door, Dylan’s expression softened slightly, and a mischievous smile played at the corner of his mouth. “Sherry, didn’t I tell you to wait? Why did you come?”
Sherry glanced at Charlotte, a hint of disdain flashing in her eyes.
In her eyes, Charlotte had become an ominous person.
Anything she had touched would surely bring trouble!
For instance, that black horse just now, after being touched by Charlotte, it went crazy, causing her to fall off the horse, miss the test, and lose face.
At this thought, Sherry’s eyes were filled with intensified disgust. She turned to Dylan and spoke in a coquettish tone, “Is it sorted? It’s already dark outside. Do you want me to keep waiting out there?”
She and Dylan were both students at New Era University, and their relationship was quite good. When arranging accommodation today, she could only stay in a tent, while Dylan had it worse, having to stay in a cave. Fortunately, Dylan told her that he could arrange to get a single room; after all, he had someone backing him, so doing a little mischief was no big deal. Thus, Sherry pinned all her hopes on Dylan.
She didn’t want to stay in a tent; her delicate skin couldn’t bear it!
“It would have been done quickly, but this person is being stubborn, refusing to leave,” Dylan complained with a mocking tone as he stood up from the
sofa.
Upon hearing this, Sherry couldn’t help but cast her gaze toward Charlotte. She snorted and said, “Charlotte, I advise you to be sensible and quickly take your luggage and leave. Just because you ranked first in today’s test doesn’t mean you have the right to be defiant. The Starry Sky Training Camp is not to be taken lightly, and Dylan has powerful backing. You’re asking for trouble!”
Sherry went on a long tirade, but Charlotte seemed to have not heard a word. Her gaze remained faint, and her expression unchanged.
After a moment of silence, she let out a low laugh.
A slight curve formed at the corner of her lips, exuding contempt and ruthlessness.
