The moment she heard that name, Eleanor’s face turned pale, devoid of color. 

She gripped Vanessa’s arm tightly, her voice trembling. “Mom, I don’t want. I don’t want to marry him. I heard he’s a disabled man in a wheelchair and he looks very ugly…”
