Darryl slowly came to his senses after being silent for more than 10 seconds or so before smiling and looked at Quincy. “Honey, let’s go and not stay here anymore. It’s not good if people see us like this.”

Life was indeed strange. One moment ago, Darryl was still against Quincy Long, in a blink of an eye, he became her Prince Consort.

Quincy’s face flushed upon Darryl’s immodesty and she said coldly, “Shut up and go away!”

Darryl scratched his head and smiled mischievously before saying, “Honey, I’m your Prince Consort. How could you ask me to leave? Come, let me carry you.”

Quincy panicked and stomped her feet. “You! Stand there! Who allowed you to approach me! I’ll kill you if you come closer!”

Quincy’s face was ice-cold as she immediately felt like killing Darryl. However, she was too weak from the Qi Deviation and could not do so even if she truly wanted to!

“Why do you have such a bad temper?”

Darryl muttered with a helpless expression, “You’ll be killing your husband if you take action against me. Aren’t you afraid Her Majesty will blame you?”

“You…” Quincy was livid as she sneered and said, “Darryl, I’m warning you. Don’t think that I’ve become your woman just because Her Majesty issued a decree. I have no whatsoever relationship with you!”

Quincy then bit her lip hard and stormedout of the main hall as Darryl was getting more and more flirtatious. In addition, she had not fully regained her internal energy and was unsure what worse things he might do to her, so it was better to leave first.

Darryl did not know whether to laugh or cry upon looking at Quincy’s back. He could not help but yell out loud, “Eh? Why are you going just like that?”

However, Quincy did not look back. Darryl then chuckled, sat cross-legged on the floor, and tried to heal his injuries. Megan had interrupted him just moments ago when he tried to cultivate the Blood Battle Eight Directions and had not healed yet till that moment; hence Darryl intentionally aggravated Quincy and made her leave so that he could finally heal in peace.
