“Stop speaking rubbish. I will barge in if you don’t open the door.” Jackie was too lazy to speak further.

The more Darryl refused to open the door; the more suspicious Jackie was of him.

Sigh!

Darryl was at his wit’s end as he turned his head and said to the Sect Master, “Sect Master, what shall we do?”

“Shush!”

At that moment, Jasmine put her finger to her mouth, motioning for him to be silent. “Shush!”

She was nervous and full of mixed emotions. “Don’t let her know I’m here. She will definitely misunderstand as it’s really late at night.”

Jasmine turned her body and climbed up the bed. She then pulled the blanket and covered herself.

Seeing that, Darryl was not sure whether to cry or laugh. ‘This Sect Master really cares about her reputation. She climbed into my bed just to avoid being misunderstood by Jackie.’

Just as Darryl was in deep thought, the room door was suddenly kicked open. Then, Jackie walked in with an ice-cold expression.

“Darren!” she shouted as she walked in.

Jackie checked out Darryl and tried to suppress her anger as she said coldly, “Didn’t you say you were resting? You said you weren’t dressed. So why are you still dressed so tidily; what is your explanation?”

As she said that, Jackie’s exquisite face looked extremely cold.

‘How dare Darren lie to me, this is terrible!’

Darryl smiled bitterly as he opened his mouth to explain, “Elder Master, I was really resting, but didn’t you force me to open the door? I just put my clothes back on!”

At the same time, Darryl felt funny in his heart.
