The Ultimate Husband (Darryl and Lily Lyndon) novel Chapter 2135

Debra shook her head, looking conflicted. “Nowhere. I do not know where I am going.”

‘I was hiding from the complications of the wars, and that was why I was at the Yellow Sea Continent. I’m not familiar with this place at all and I don’t know where to go,’ Debra thought.

Jackie blinked as she continued to say, “Miss Debra, I won’t waste any more time. We, the Sun Set Sect, only accept female disciples. Since you lost your memory, you can consider joining our sect. Of course, if you don’t want to, I can ask someone to send you away.”

Jackie’s face looked calm. Although she was not showing any emotion, she felt extremely conflicted.

She wanted Debra to leave. Once Debra left, Darren would be able to attend to Sect Master sincerely and not think of others. It was just that Jackie was wary of her identity, and it was not appropriate for her to say what was in her heart. As such, she could only try to get an indication of Debra’s thoughts.

When she heard that, Debra bit her lips lightly as she had her head down, deep in thought and feeling hesitant.

Ever since she lost her memory, Debra felt the Forgotten Valley was the place she was most familiar with. However, Donoghue tricked her and left on his own. Debra was really disappointed because of that. Under such circumstances, Debra felt ashamed to return to her Master at Forgotten Valley.

‘I am not familiar with this place at all. If I stayed, could it work?’ she wondered.

Sigh!

At that moment, Darryl did not interrupt, but he was full of worries. ‘Sh*t, what is Jackie trying to do? She wants Debra to stay at Sun Set Sect? No, that cannot happen.’

Darryl could not stop sending eye signals to Debra, hoping to convince her to reject Jackie’s invitation and not stay at the Sun Set Sect. He had a plan; as long as Debra decided to leave, he would use the excuse of escorting her to leave the sect too.

However, Debra was deep in thought and did not notice anything about Darryl.

Finally, Debra sighed in relief and looked at Jackie as she said, “Alright, I’ll stay at the Sun Set Sect.”

Although she was familiar with the Sun Set Sect, the scenery was peaceful and quiet. It was a great place for Debra to cultivate and rest without being disturbed by anyone.

When he heard that, Darryl’s mind was spinning, and his mind went blank.
