Colt looked as astonished as Bob. He did not expect that Tanya would reject his son in such a blunt manner.
Tanya took in a deep breath and turned to Bob, her expression serious. “Father, I told you that I don’t want to get married just yet. I want to help you in managing the family business. Also, Jonas is not my type.”
“Tanya!” Jonas panicked and explained himself hurriedly. “I know that you have your opinions about me but you just have to say it, I’ll change! I promise to be good to you forever!”
Tanya did not reply.. “Haha…”
Colt laughed and glanced at Tanya. “Tanya, you’re still young. It’s good that you have your own opinions but you have to understand that Jonas’s feelings towards you are sincere. I know that you want to help to manage the family business but that would be exhausting for a woman.
Wouldn’t it be great to have someone to help you out if you get married to Jonas? Also, you would have the Dokko family’s support when our families merge because of the wedding. The Snyder family’s business can only go up from there.”
Tanya bit her lip hard but she did not reply. Her expression was neutral but she still did not show any signs of agreeing.
“Tanya!”
Jonas was extremely anxious and he wanted about to say something. “Sir!”
A maid walked towards them and said, “A man named Darryl Darby is here. I have already invited him in.”
