Zhang Jue frowned as he learned of the situation. 'An unren1arkable person with two Martial En1peror inner cores?'

''What does he look like?'' Zhang Jue, on high alert, inquired coldly.

''He looked cold but handson1e, and there were three scars on his face,'' Rita described Darryl's appearance.

Zhang Jue's eyes flashed in exciten1ent. He was delighted and shocked.

Region on his own.

After the truce between The Nine Continents and the Raksasa Tribe, the  continents had sent n1en to search for Darryl and Donoghue in the Wild Deserted Secret Region. Three years had passed, but nothing had been discovered.

There were rumors that Darryl was dead or that he had sacrificed himself to kill Donoghue. In short, no one thought that Darryl could come back alive. After all, the Wild Deserted Secret Region was dangerous. Both Yang Jian and the Raksasa King fell, and they were also yet to be found.

Darryl returned to the hall and saw Lillian waiting impatiently.

''What took you so long?'' When Lillian saw Darryl walk out, she grimaced. ''What did you two talk about?'' she asked.

''It is nothing; we simply chit-chat,'' Darryl answered with a smile.

Lillian became further enraged when Darryl refused to tell her anything; she niuttered, ''What a lecher! You must have stayed because she is so beautiful.'' Darryl laughed in his heart.

Lillian's voice was soft, but Darryl could still hear her clearly.

'Lillian is fascinating. She said she was not jealous, but she cared so n1uch about it.'

Darryl thought about it, and he decided to tell Lillian about Rita's proposal.

''Don't ever trust that won1an, '' Lillian said instinctively. Darryl nodded. ''I know. I only gave her a cursory response.''

The two left the trading center; they talked as they walked.

''Darren!''

When they got outside, Lillian asked, ''Who are you? Where did you get the two Martial Emperor inner cores?''

Lillian had been curious, and she had that question in her mind all the while, and she felt awkward not asking it.
