'What should I do?' Ring, ring, ring...

At that n1on1ent, he could hear vibrations corning frolll the solid ground beneath his feet. The tren1or was not particularly loud, but Darryl could hear it.

'Sh*t, what's going on?'

Darryl was perplexed. He quickly looked down. His gaze shifted to the ground, where he noticed a hole roughly half a n1eter in dian1eter bored into the stone ground beneath his feet. A short and tiny figure crawled out of it next.

The n1an was in his forties, dressed in body­ hugging leather, with a rat's face, a pointed mouth, and broad cheeks.

He was Tu Xingsun. They had n1et a few tin1es on the North Moana Continent. 'Sh*t, it's hiill?'

Darryl was stunned when he saw Tu Xingsun.

''Tsk, tsk, tsk...'' Tu Xingsun tapped away the soil on his body and spat the dirt out of his lips as he n1un1bled to hiillself, ''Such a lousy place, needs so n1uch energy just to dig a hole...''

He saw Darryl as he spoke. Tu Xingsun had a shock and almost jun1ped froill the ground.

''Why is it you?'' Tu Xingsun kept a close eye on Darryl. He was taken aback.

When Darryl and Chang Er were apprehended, and Yang Jian in1prisoned then1 in the North Moana Continent's palacejail, Tu Xingsun had dug a hole and rescued  them.

Tu Xingsun remembered the situation vividly. Darryl was, of course, no stranger to him.

''Senior Tu Xingsun, how are you?'' Darryl smiled and greeted hi1n.

When he said that, Darryl felt relief beyond description. 'Sh*t, I thought I would not be able to escape from this tragedy. Who would have guessed that I'd bunip into Tu Xingsun.'

Tu Xingsun was about to reply when he noticed the walls. ''Sh*t, this is a route to death. Corne with me right away.'' He rotated his body and crawled down the hole in the ground as he spoke.

Darryl did not think twice; he followed behind hilll illlinediately. ''Senior Tu Xingsun.''

After they went into the hole in the ground,

Darryl asked, ''Senior, why are you here?'' Darryl recalled Tu Xingsun as Chang Er's disciple. He was devoted to her. Instead, he should be on the North Moana Continent.

Why would he show up in Saint Fire Palace?

Tu Xingsun siniled awkwardly and said, ''Didn't you hear? After the battle with the Raksasa Tribe ended, Master Chang Er wished to cultivate Taoisin and gave up governing North Moana. She did not need n1y protection anyn1ore; I alll a free soul now.''

"I heard Inany people explore the Wild Deserted Secret Region. I was curious, so I came to join the fun.'' He chuckled.

''When I passed by the Saint Fire Palace Sect, I heard they have a treasure called the Fire Bead. I am here to check it out. I burnped into you unexpectedly.''

'I see.''

Darryl nodded when he understood the situation. At the same tirne, he felt amazed.

'Tu Xingsun is really a unique warrior who has been well-known in the community for a long tirne. He is powerful and brave. He has the guts to come to Fire Saint Palace  Sect alone. '

Darryl continued to walk alongside Tu Xingsun as they spoke. Tu Xingsun's strength was evident to hin1. A sirnple hole on the ground was linked to rnany tunnels

''Brother!''

When they reached a fork in the tunnel, Tu Xingsun turned his head around and said, ''I did not manage to see the Fire Bead after such a huge effort. I am about to leave. Are you staying or are you coining with Ine?''

Tu Xingsun looked frustrated when he said that.
