She was amazed. Clarice stood up, and her body trembled. She could not use any energy at all. The giant black python was too powerful; Clarice sustained injuries when its tail struck her.

When he saw that, Darryl said, ''Don't worry, you are only injured due to the vibration. You will be fine after some rest.''

As he spoke, Darryl remembered something and asked, ''Oh, yes! What is this place? You and your brothers seemed to be familiar with this place.''

Clarice bit her lips as she hesitated. ''That was a place that belonged to the Raksasa Tribe. This wasteland was a city built by the Raksasa Tribe a few thousand years ago. Clarice continued to say, ''When our ancestors were forced to leave, they left something here. We are here to look for it. However, the Green Cloud Sect found us two days ago. They thought that we are spies from the Raksasa Tribe and that we are here to harm them. So, they locked us up.''

When she said the last sentence, Clarice smiled at Da rryl. ''This is a secret I share with my siblings. I am not supposed to tell anyone else. So, you must keep it to yourself, especially when you see my brothers. Please do not say a single word. Otherwise, they will scold me.''

Her eyes shone with anticipation; she looked incredibly alluring and adorable.

A smile appeared on Darryl's face; he nodded his head and said, ''Fine, I will not tell anyone.''

'I have never imagined such a gentle woman in the Raksasa Tribe.' Bang...

Suddenly, they heard a loud vibration nearby; it was obvious that oneof the traps in the room had been activated.

Clarice was worried; she wanted to go take a look. However, she did not have any energy at all. She asked Darryl,  ''Darren... you... can you bring me there to take a look? I  am worried  that my brothers are in danger.''

After she witnessed Darryl's power, Clarice knew that the manwaspowerful. She would  save a lot of trouble if he were willing to help her.

Darryl sighed discreetly when Clarice begged him. He smiled and said, ''Alright, I will go take a look with you!''

Then, Darryl realized something, and he stared at Clarice. ''But, you cannot use any of your internal energy at all. You will have trouble walking; how shall I take you there?''

'That's right!' 'What to do now?'

Clarice was worried. She bit her lips and gave it a thought as if there was something she could not say. Then, she looked at Darryl in his eyes and bowed her head. ''Perhaps you can carry me?''

Clarice blushed when she said that. She had hated people from the Nine Mainland, but for some reason, she had nothing against the man in front of her.
