Darryl was dumbfounded and he took a long time to recover from the shock. ‘Could it be that this is the Godly Region Yennie talked about?’

He asked numbly, "Is this the Godly Region?"

"This is not the Godly Region, but the Heavenly Spirit Realm! This is where I live," Yennie replied softly.

Darryl took a deep breath, raised his eyes and saw a few characters were written in cursive script on the mountainside in front of him— Heavenly Spirit Realm!

‘Heavenly Spirit Realm? where is that?’ Darryl was startled and puzzled.

Yennie saw his expression and said softly, "The Heavenly Spirit Realm is an independent space, a place that links the Godly Region and The Nine Continent up."

With that said, Yennie looked at the pavilions on the mountain emotionally. "The supreme ruler in the Godly Region is the Heaven Emperor, who is in charge of the laws of heaven and earth and US. The Nine Saint Oracles were sent by the Heaven Emperor to safeguard The Nine Continent."

‘Us?’ Darryl was perplexed as he scratched his head and then asked, “Do you have a companion?”

Yennie nodded. "Yes, there are nine of US. The nine of us have been stationed in this Heavenly Spirit Realm for thousands of years. Our duty is to maintain the balance between heaven and earth in The Nine Continent."

Darryl gasped and looked around. "It looks beautiful here, but it’s deserted. I haven't seen another person."

Darryl was puzzled. Yennie told him that there were nine of them, but no one else showed up.

‘Could it be... Did something happen to the Heavenly Spirit Realm?’ he wondered.

Yennie explained in a gentle tone when she saw Darryl’s expression, "You guessed right. Ten years ago, something happened to the Heavenly Spirit Realm. The instigator was the King of the Dead from the Ghost World. The Ghost World is something like the Godly Region. It’s another world, which is what you call hell. It’s in charge of the cycle of life and death in The Nine Continent, but the King of the Dead is ambitious and has always wanted to rule The Nine Continent!

"Knowing the King of the Dead’s ambitions, the Heaven Emperor deployed a sky Earth Formation in the Nine Provinces to prevent the power of the King of the Dead from infiltrating into The Nine Continent. The Sky Earth Formation was the barrier between The Nine Continent.

"However, ten years ago, King of the Dead destroyed the Sky Earth Formation, leading to the disappearance of the barrier between The Nine Continent. The disappearance of the sky Earth Formation did not only destroy the stability in The Nine Continent but also caused the Nine Saint Oracles to lose contact with the Godly Region." 1

‘So, the barriers between the various continents of The Nine Continent disappeared and so many issues were affected. It was in fact related to the Godly Region,’ he thought.
