The Ultimate Husband (Darryl and Lily Lyndon) novel Chapter 3290

Chapter 3290

Not long after Lancelot left, Damien's body floated to the surface of the pond.

Gasp!

A passer-by saw the body, and his face went pale. His legs weakened.

"Hey... Master Damien is dead..."

A few seconds later, the person screamed in horror. The entire manor was in an uproar.

Meanwhile, at the Rose Manor, in Jewel City.

The auction was about to end. Then, there was a stir in the crowd. A man in a gorgeous robe was seen approaching slowly, accompanied by the guards.

The man was about 40 years old. He was a gentleman with elegant manners, and a powerful aura permeated from his body.

He was the owner of the Rose Manor—Count Rowan. 2

"Your Excellency, long time no see!" "The Count is so fashionable, as usual."

"Pleased to meet you, Count Rowan!"

Everyone went forth to greet Count Rowan when he first appeared! Count Rowan was Pearl City's head guard. He was second in power in the Crescent Moon Principality. He was the most powerful person after the Duke, and everyone was trying hard to ingratiate with him.

Darryl and Lolita stood at the side, watching quietly.

"Everyone!"

Count Rowan smiled politely at the compliments he received and said, "I'm sorry to have come so late. I had another matter to attend to. I heard that today's auction was very successful and exciting."

Then, Jordan chuckled. "It's been very exciting, indeed. There is a fool who bought an ordinary piece of jade for 10,000 gold coins, of course, it's exciting." 1

The crowd burst into a fit of laughter. They all looked at Darryl in unison.

They thought that Darryl was utterly out of his mind to spend 10,000 gold coins on a piece of jade.

F*ck!

Darryl frowned in anger when Jordan had deliberately stirred the matter once again.

'That idiot is not giving up just yet, is he?'

Huh!

Count Rowan could not help but look at Darryl and said, "You don't look familiar to me. May I know where you are from?"

"Your Excellency, my name is Darryl!" Darryl replied courteously.

Then, Jordan shouted again, "Your Excellency, he's the Damien family's live-in son-in-law from Pearl City. I heard that he was just an inexperienced apothecary before he joined the Damien family."

Count Rowan nodded and looked away from Darryl.

A live-in son-in-law was not worth his time at all.
