Chapter 3357
‘Who really is this Darren? How could he be so calm and steady when faced with such a situation?’ Jameson was frustrated as he was unable to escape.
He was also incredibly worried when he saw it was getting dark and his soldiers were trapped on the hill.
A few hours passed in the blink of an eye. Jameson was unable to control himself when he saw there was no movement at the bottom of the hill. He took out his big sword and pointed it at Darryl. “It’s all your fault we’re in this mess. You shall die! ”
In another two hours, it will be dark. By then, tens of thousands of soldiers will die. At that moment, Jameson was so angry, all he wanted to do was kill Darryl.
Darryl was not worried at all when he saw Jameson walking over to him with a big sword. Reese tried to stop him immediately. “
Jameson, don’t be reckless. Mister Darren is Albert’s friend.”
“So, what if he is Albert’s friend; I must kill him,” Jameson replied.
Bang!
Suddenly Jameson and Reese heard a loud bang as they were arguing which made everyone’s heart skip a beat. They looked up ahead and were stunned by what they saw.
There was a crack on the riverbank a few hundred meters away and the water was rushing down the river towards the valley at the bottom of the hill. In an instant, the enemy’s formation was a complete mess!
Reese trembled in shock when she saw that. ‘He predicted it correctly! The alliance army is in trouble. The Geomancy he mentioned earlier is amazing.’
Meanwhile, Jameson and the other soldiers took a deep breath.
They saw the bottom of the hill had turned into a sea as many of their enemies were swept away by the water. The people’s shouts echoed together with the sounds of rushing water.
Everyone had a dozen thoughts.
‘Darren was right. Before it became day again, our enemies were defeated without a fight.’
‘But...this is unbelievable.’
‘That’s right!’
‘This guy is just lucky that his nonsense comes true.’
‘This geomancy thing was only something he made up.’
Jameson gathered his thoughts and glared at Darryl, his eyes filled with contempt. More than ten minutes later, the river water had subsided and the valley at the bottom of the hill was a mess.
Among the hundreds and thousands of alliance soldiers Randy led, tens of thousands had been washed away by the river from the sudden natural disaster. Those that survived were a mess and looked horrible. They no longer looked like an army.
