The audience stared at Darryl with wide eyes and was in disbelief. ‘ Did Darryl just successfully tame ten Golden Lions? Impossible! How did he do it? Does that mean he really knew how to communicate with wild beasts using the beast language? How mind -blowing!’

What they did not know was Darryl had used the beast taming loop concealed within his body. There was no way he could tame the Golden Lions if it was not for that. The whole square was so quiet that you could hear a pin drop. 1

Marshall was especially shocked and had turned purple with rage. He really thought he would be able to teach Darryl a lesson with the Golden Lions. It never crossed his mind Darryl would actually tame the Golden Lions and ten of them at that! Even the best of the best trainers were not able to do it.

“Darren, you’re amazing! ” shouted Angeline excitedly as her eyes flashed with happiness.

Even the Queen and Madame Pandora were smiling at him. He did not disappoint them at all. He was just as exceptional as they both thought. It was no wonder Angeline held him in high regard.

“This is incredible, what an exceptional ability you have,” praised Madame Pandora. Her interest in him grew more and more.

Darryl smiled at her praise which just made Marshall even angrier as his mood plummeted to the ground. How could he not be angry when his plan had backfired on him?

“Your Excellency, I trust that you’ll believe me now when I say I know how to speak the beast language? After all, you saw how I successfully tamed the ten Golden Lions,” said Darryl with a smile. His voice was not loud, but everyone heard him clearly.

In an instant, Marshall discovered all eyes were on him. “Well...”

He was pretty embarrassed as he scratched his head, not knowing what to say.

“Marshall, you owe Darren an apology for accusing him of lying to Her Majesty,” said Angeline.

Then she swept her eyes across the audience and addressed them, “ As commander-in-chief of the garrison, Marshall’s behavior was not befitting of his position.Therefore, he should publicly apologize to Darryl.” 1

The audience nodded in agreement.
