Chapter 3433
‘Ah, so it was because of the beast language,’ thought Darryl.
He smiled and said, “Actually, about that, I came up with the term beast language myself. I was born with this ability, so I don’t know if....”
He was gazing at Madame Pandora and lost his train of thought. Another ten seconds passed by before he snapped out of it. ‘sh*t, is she going to get angry?” 2
He observed her expression closely and discovered to his surprise, that she was not angry and had even adjusted herself to present herself in the most beautiful posture. At this, Darryl involuntarily swallowed. ‘She’ll be the death of me.’
Madame Pandora sighed lightly. “So one needs to be born with it? Bummer. I thought anyone could learn it. I was hoping you could teach me, but it seems like that’s never going to happen. Anyways, at the end of the day, you’re still a rare talent in the whole of the Golden Lion Principality. It is a real honor to have you here at my manor.”
She then got up from the couch, poured two glasses of drinks, and passed one of them to Darryl with a smile. “Would you care to join me?”
Darryl's brain began to buzz and his throat went dry at her being so close to him. Just as he was in a trance, he heard Madame Pandora cry out as she was falling. He quickly caught her in an embrace before she hit the ground. Instantly, his nostrils were filled with a soft fragrance which caused him to gasp as his legs turned to jelly.
Madame Pandora’s beautiful face was flushed pink and her hand was around Darryl’s neck. “I suddenly feel so dizzy. Can Your Excellency please bring me to the couch?”
Her lips were unbelievably close to his ears as her breath tickled his ears and made his heartbeat race.
‘Is she asking me to take a hint?’ He nodded and guided her to the couch. Once there, she did not let go of her hands immediately but stayed pressed against Darryl. Her slightly drunken face made her look incredibly seductive.
“It’s getting dark out. Why don’t you stay the night here?” she asked while batting her eyelashes.
She wished she did not have to go so far, but she had no choice, for she had already promised Marshall she would help him. She did not dare to imagine what he would do to her if she went back on her words.
