Chapter 3574
Darryl wondered if they were Grunt’s subordinates there to get him. He was about to run back into the room to hide from them, but it was too late. The three people landed in the small courtyard in the blink of an eye and their eyes were immediately glued to Darryl’s. Especially the woman; she was studying Darryl curiously.
The next second, the woman turned her head toward the old man and said, "Doesn’t Mister Ghost Valley Sage live alone? Why is there a young kid here?" 1
The old man smiled but said nothing.
Darryl secretly let out a sigh of relief once he knew that the group was not Grunt's subordinates, otherwise, the girl would not have been curious about his identity.
At that point in time, he had no idea that the old man in front of him was the Immortal Venerable Balman, while the young man and woman with him were his disciples. The young man was called Harrison and the woman was called Lorelle. 1
Like Ghost Valley Sage, Immortal Venerable Balman was also a recluse. He was called the Immortal Venerable Balman because he lived in seclusion near the Balman Sea. when Ghost Valley Sage entered the Godly Region through the shattered Void, Immortal Venerable Balman paid Ghost Valley Sage a visit because he had been admiring Ghost Valley Sage for a long time. They became close friends after that and visited each other a couple of times.
Immortal Venerable Balman was free on that day, so he visited Ghost Valley Sage with his disciples.
Lorelle was interested in Darryl. "Hey, what’s your name? Why are you here?"
"I — ’’ Darryl gaped at Lorelle’s question because he did not know who he was talking to. For a moment, he had no idea what to say.
Suddenly, a fit of laughter broke out behind Darryl as he was beginning to feel awkward. Soon, Ghost Valley Safe walked out of the room with a wide grin on his face. 2
“So, it’s you, Immortal Venerable Balman. I’m sorry to have not greeted you earlier!" Ghost Valley Sage walked up to Immortal Venerable Balman and smiled. "Let’s go inside."
"You need not be overly polite." Immortal Venerable Balman smiled and then beckoned Harrison and Lorelie to follow him into the room. Darryl went after the group.
As soon as they got into the room, Ghost Valley Sage ordered Darryl, “Go and make a pot of tea.”
Darryl took the order obediently and quickly went off to make a pot of tea.
While he was making tea, he secretly tugged Ghost Valley Sage’s sleeve and asked curiously, "Master, where is this distinguished guest from?"
Ghost Valley Sage smiled faintly and replied softly, "This is Immortal Venerable Balman and his two disciples. Immortal Venerable Balman had no interest in fame and fortune, so he chose to be a recluse like me. He is someone with great abilities, so you have to smarten up your act around him, got it? As for the two people next to him, they are both his disciples. The man is Harrison and the woman is Lorelle. Harrison is a lone ranger and Lorelle is rather playful.”
Darryl nodded quietly at his master’s advice. Soon, the tea was ready and Darryl brought it to the guests.
Immortal Venerable Balman smiled at Ghost Valley Sage and asked, "Mister Ghost Valley Sage, haven't you been living alone in seclusion? Why do you have a young man here?"
"This is my new attendant. Although I feel very comfortable living alone, it is good to have someone around to help me,” Ghost Valley Sage replied nonchalantly with a smile.
