Chapter 3673
“Dax!" Ambrose was flustered to see Dax committing the rash act and shouted.
‘Rogart is powerful but Dax has been deliberately making him angry again and again. He’s digging his own grave,’ Ambrose thought.
Ambrose rushed to Dax to stop him, but he was a second too late.
Boom!
Dax and Rogart collided, causing a loud noise. Dax’s face went ashen and he staggered backward.
“Dax, stop being so impulsive!” Ambrose yelled anxiously as he sweated profusely.
He knew Dax well and he knew Dax had a fiery temper. Dax was relentless, even when he knew he had no chance of winning.
"Ambrose, the Heavenly Alliance are full of themselves. They have not shown us the slightest bit of respect. If we let this go today, they’ll only get worse!" Dax howled as his eyes turned red.
Ambrose took a deep breath and went silent after listening to Dax. ‘ If the Heavenly Alliance takes over the Jade Peak, soon they’ll take over the Elysium Gate Altar. Giving in to their absurd requestly blindly will only make the Elysium Gate Sect and Flower Mountain lose our place in the long run.’
He gripped the Tyrant Hammer as he announced, “Alright, Dax. I’ll help you. Let’s teach this envoy a lesson! ”
After that, both Ambrose and Dax charged at Rogart! In an instant, the two of them activated their internal energy at the same time. The air around them became distorted as the two powerful auras locked onto Rogart.
However, Rogart had an arrogant smirk on his face. "You both decided to attack together? Well, well!"
Then, he raised his hand and waved, sending two rays of light, aiming for Dax and Ambrose.
Ambrose and Dax exchanged looks when they sensed the terrifying power contained in the rays of light. They were ready to dodge the attack, but they were still a step slower! They were hit by the light and were sent falling downwards as they grunted from the impact.
Ambrose coughed up a mouthful of blood when he landed on the ground before he could even stabilize himself. Meanwhile, Dax staggered back a few steps. Although he did not spit out any blood, his face had turned pale and he was obviously injured.
Rogart studied Dax; his eyes flashed with light as he enunciated, " Dax, I'll give you a chance. If you and your Flower Mountain are willing to join the Heavenly Alliance, I’ll let bygones be bygones."
Rogart sounded nonchalant, but his tone was firm and final. He had always seen Dax as a tough nut to crack and handle. Dax also possessed the sky Breaking Axe and since they had fallen out, Rogart thought he would seize the opportunity to subdue Dax. Otherwise, he saw no end to his troubles.
