Darryl was shocked when he heard that and quickly asked, "what happened?"

Ileana sighed lightly and said, "Half a month ago, the Godly Region sent an envoy named Rogart to set up the Heavenly Alliance in the Nine Mainland to reorganize the world of cultivators. Many of the sects had joined him.

Darryl's expression changed when he heard that. 'So that's why the island was so desolate. But, how did a mere envoy win over the dragons? Something is really off about that.'

Darryl smiled at Ileana and said, "Thank you for telling me all this. I have to go now. Let's catch up some other time."

His face was impassive when he said that, which belied the anxiety he was feeling in his heart. He never thought that so many changes had happened in the Nine Mainland in the three years he was gone.

Meanwhile, at the Carter family's mansion, Dax, Chester, Yvette, and the others were sitting in the living room with a solemn expression on their faces, making the atmosphere there indescribably suffocating.

They had received news about what had happened in the Legendary Island of Dragons the previous day. No one could believe that the powerful dragons had lost. "I think it is a trap. We'll be surrounded by danger if we attend. Rogart is treacherous and would not let US go that easily," Yvette said.

Chester nodded in agreement and said, "You're right. The Heavenly Alliance had already subdued the Green Dragon clan, and we're probably next."

"What's there to be scared of? If it's up to me, I say we go! After all, we're one of the three strongest sects in the entire Nine Mainland. We'll be a laughing stock if we don't go! A worst-case scenario? We'll just fight them to the death," Dax shouted aggressively.

Chester did not know whether to laugh or cry. "Calm down, Dax. Do you think we have a winning chance when they already won against the Green Dragon clan? This concerns the life and death of the three big sects; we shouldn't act rashly."
