'How could this be?' Darryl was dumbfounded.

He stared at Jewel in surprise. "Jewel, what’s the matter? Didn't Zhang Jue kill you back then? Also, why do you have the aura of a dragon in your body?"

Jewel let out a long sigh and slowly explained the situation to Darryl. "Mister Darryl, I wasn’t dead back then. Diaochan saved me. Darryl smiled at the sight of the panic-stricken Jewel and he was about to answer. However, they heard a sneer from outside the door all of a sudden. "Well, well, well."

Then a dozen figures poured in, led by a grim and unwelcoming leader.

Grunt stepped forward with a scorned look on his face. "Darryl, you are so daring. How dare you break into our altar. Do you really think you can do anything you want since you were once a Nine Mainland hero? The Nine Mainland today is no longer the Nine Mainland it was three years ago!"

Grunt looked arrogant when he spoke. Earlier, he was patrolling the banquet and found that Darryl was missing, so he immediately gathered people to search for him, and sure enough, he caught Darryl inside the altar.
