The Ultimate Husband (Darryl and Lily Lyndon) novel Chapter 3926

Chapter 3926

To make matters worse, the ancient poisonous centipede opened its mouth, breathing out jets of green flames. Those flames were combustions of venom. A few hundred the Heavenly Alliance members were scorched into porcelain-white skeletons under a single jet of the green fire in the blink of an eye. It was truly a bone -chilling sight.

Cayden could hardly believe his eyes, going mindless with shock and rage. He hurriedly summoned his internal energy, creating a Heavenly Shield in front of him in an attempt to protect himself from the green flame.

The green flame found its way to the Heavenly Shield, disintegrating it in a matter of seconds.

Just then, the ancient poisonous centipede's body heaved with a twist. Its tail swung fiercely in Cayden's direction.

Cayden barely had time to dodge and was sent flying a hundred meters away. He landed heavily on the floor, blood spraying from his mouth.

F*ck!

Cayden struggled as he got to his feet. His eyes were crimson with rage, his gaze locked onto the ancient poisonous centipede.

He was the great Guardian of the Heavenly Alliance, but a mere centipede had hurt him! what would he do with his pride? He would go crazy with resentment if he did not have the beast's head.

Such power!

Upon witnessing the power of the green flame, the Heavenly Alliance members lost color in their faces.

"That green flame is terrifying; even the Guardian's Heavenly Shield is no match for it."

"Yeah, what the hell is that centipede's deal anyway?"

As the Heavenly Alliance members grew even paler with fear, the Carter family struggled to keep their emotions in control.

That ancient poisonous centipede was a creature of such terror. Would the ten thousand Heavenly Alliance members be able to survive it?

The beast seemed to have gone completely insane. Its long, forked tongue poked out as it charged into the group of Heavenly Alliance members once again.

"Argh!"

A series of blood-curdling screams pierced the air as another few hundred men from the Heavenly Alliance were taken out again.

F*ck!

At that point, Cayden had reached his limit. He screamed, "stupid creature! You still dare act so cruelly?" He brandished his long sword with a brilliant whip, emitting a blinding glow that cut through the air and sent it swinging in the direction of the ancient poisonous centipede.

The sword's golden sheen made it look impossibly powerful, capable of defeating thousands of men. Yet it had struck the ancient poisonous centipede and not left a single mark.

Cayden was well and truly confused. ’F*ck, how powerful is that giant centipede?'

The ancient poisonous centipede grew even more furious when Cayden attacked it. As it let out a deafening shriek to the heavens, it whipped its enormous body around. It made a beeline for Cayden, rolling up clouds of wind wherever it moved at a terrifying speed.

Cayden decided to risk it all as he gripped the longsword in his hand. He did not retreat and instead leaped forward to meet the beast head-on.

Cayden was still unaware of how terrifying the creature before him was. He thought he would be able to conquer it with his skills.

He had used his energy forcefield to dodge the attack from the ancient poisonous centipede, leaping onto its back in a singular stride and driving his long sword into the beast's head.

Emerald-green blood sprayed out from the wound at the first prick of the longsword. The ancient poisonous centipede let out an anguished howl of pain, writhing its giant body.

Cayden held on to his longsword, clinging on and not allowing himself to be thrown off while he laughed. "How dare you behave as such in front of me, the Guardian? How dare—ARGH—"

Cayden's celebratory speech was cut off with a wail. Some of the centipede's blood had splattered onto Cayden's face, creating a cloud of thick smoke where it made contact. In the blink of an eye, all the skin covering Cayden's body had turned a deep green.
