Skylar did not notice Veron.

At the opening of the dungeon, Skylar did not enter right away. Instead he looked around before crying out, "Disciples!"

As his command rang through the air, Kendall came rushing over with a few hundred disciples from the Five Poison Sect. They surrounded the dungeon at once.

Skylar cut her off before she could finish her sentence. "I just felt it. Master Magaera has broken my sky Fiend Bonds."

Kendall froze upon hearing Skylar's words.

Kendall pondered upon the question in her head, but dared not ask it.

Skylar's face was deadly serious. He ordered, "I've no need for your help here for now. Seal all the exits at the altar. I suspect someone helped Master Magaera in secret."

Skylar was no fool. By Master Magaer's condition, there was no way he could have broken out of his restraints so quickly. The only explanation was that someone had snuck into the dungeon.

Kendall acknowledged him, rushing off to give out commands.

Skylar's face was deathly blank as he spoke, but a twinge of unspeakable uncertainty nudged at him internally.

The Honorable Archfiend was not present, and he was no match for Master Magaera. Well, there was no way he was letting Magaera out of the Five Poison Sect tonight.

A strong force exploded from inside the dungeon. It was quickly followed by a blazing figure, floating in mid-air.

It was Master Magaera.

At the sight of Magaera, Skylar's expression shifted. His gaze narrowed. "Out at last, I see. I must say I really underestimated you, Master Magaera. I hadn't expected that someone would sneak into the dungeon to help you out."

Skylar's expression morphed into one of ferocity. "But mark my words. I will seize whoever helped you, and make you watch as I behead them!"
