Debra watched as Veron held Debra’s wrist firmly in one hand and her other hand slowly covered Debra’s abdomen.

Suddenly, Debra started shuddering as she felt a stream of strong energy flowing into her body through Veron’s hand.

“Miss Lange, please... There’s still hope for you!” exclaimed Debra as she tried to squirm her way out of Veron’s grip;

“Miss Lange! ” exclaimed Debra, she could not help but start crying over the loss of Veron’s life.

Debra could not believe that Veron was gone, she tried to walk over and help Veron but just as she stood up, she suddenly felt a surge of violent energy coursing through her body.

Debra’s body, not familiar with this foreign energy caused her to faint before she could do anything.

Debra slowly came to her senses after a while.

Debra was instantly greeted by the image of Veron’s limp body lying in front of her as she came to her senses.

Veron’s face had already turned green and there were no signs of life on her body.

“Miss Lange,” cried Debra, her voice shuddering as she rushed over and cradled her body in her arms.

Even if Debra was not really close with Veron, the thought of Veron dying still caused a great amount of distress to Debra.

Tears streamed down Debra’s face as she mourned the loss of Veron.

After some time, Debra finally stopped crying and stood up shakily. She walked to the back of the courtyard and dug a hole. After that, she buried Veron’s lifeless body in the pit.

After that, Debra sat crossed-legged in the tent and started to familiarize herself with the foreign energy that entered her.
