The Ultimate Husband (Darryl and Lily Lyndon) novel Chapter 4110

Chapter 4110

Leia was filled with unspeakable humiliation and helplessness as she regretted all her choices.

How could she have been foolish enough to believe that shameless b* stard?

How would she face anyone after she had been tainted? How would she ever look Darryl in the eye again? Was Darryl still in danger?

Just as Oliver was about to tear Leia's clothes off, a great burst of energy rippled from the heavens.

F*ck! Who was ruining his moment?

Oliver was furious, cursing internally. He turned around to look. He stopped short instantly at the sight that greeted him as his heart dropped to the bottom of his stomach.

A figure was making her way toward him. She was breathtakingly stunning, clad in a long colorful skirt and radiating a powerful aura.

It was Colon Phoenix.

Linder the White Tiger King's lead, the Demon Warrior tribe successfully relocated to new territory just half an hour ago. However, when making sure everyone was here, they realized Oliver and a few thousand Black Tortoise warriors were absent. That had made the White Tiger King and the Black Tortoise King rather anxious, and they had sent Color! Phoenix to look for them.

Colori Phoenix was a Red Sparrow, and she could fly at an impossible speed. She was fast enough to avoid the fiend folks if she ran into them.

Color! Phoenix had spotted the Black Tortoise warriors and flown down immediately to take a look.

She landed with grace in front of a still shell-shocked Oliver.

"Oliver!"

Colon Phoenix spoke as confusion painted her exquisite features. "What are you doing here? And what happened to Lady Leia?"

Colori Phoenix could see that Leia's face was flushed red, a dazed expression in her eyes. It was as if she had lost her mind.

"She... she..."

Oliver scrambled to answer the question. "I think she's been poisoned?"

Oliver would hardly have panicked half as much if someone else had found him. However, Color! Phoenix was a different case. She had always been one of the elders of the Red sparrow Tribe and had once been the right- hand-man of the Red Sparrow Empress. She was powerful enough that even the White Tiger King and the Black Tortoise King had to bow whenever they saw her.

That was why Oliver had always feared Colon Phoenix.

Oliver knew that he could not let anyone know that he had given Leia the Essence of Delusion.

Color! Phoenix's brows furrowed at his response.

She studied Leia carefully, asking in a tone laced with suspicion. "Wasn't she supposed to be taking care of Darryl Darby at the cave? How did she get poisoned?"

Color! Phoenix seemed to think of something, continuing with her inquiries. "And you. Why weren't you at the new territory with everyone else? What are you doing here with thousands of Black Tortoise warriors?"

Oliver took a deep breath, an unreadable expression on his face. He said," You see, I was just about to move when I received news that a small army of fiend warriors was nearby. The situation was of great urgency, so I could not tell my father in time before I went to see for myself.

"I made a full round and did not see any sign of fiend warriors. As I was leaving, I passed by the cave Darryl Darby was resting and heard Leia's cries. 1

"So I got curious and went in to take a look."

Oliver paused on purpose, dragging out the suspense.
