As he spoke, Archfiend Antigonus's gaze landed on Princess Dorothy. His expression grew sinister by the second.

Jade Immortal finally lost his patience and called out loud to Archfiend Antigonus. "Are you here to cause a nuisance on purpose? You let me take the young lady away, and now you want to take her back?"

"That's right!" Archfiend Antigonus's face was entirely emotionless as he spoke lightly. "I'm having second thoughts!"

Lute, who had been observing the scene the entire time, finally piped up. " You're Archfiend Antigonus, for heaven's sake. What do you have against that young lady? Can't you let her go, on my account?"

Archfiend Antigonus's eyes flashed icily and sinisterly. He spat out the words, "Her father, the Nine Heaven Emperor, wiped out countless of my men. That is something I can't forget, and nothing you say will talk me out of it, Lute Belle. I suggest you stay out of this, or I won't show you any mercy."

Lute's brows furrowed at his words, and displeasure colored her exquisite features. Without hesitation, she walked forward to stand in front of Princess Dorothy.

Lute was a woman who detested acts of injustice. She was not close to Princess Dorothy, but Archfiend Antigonus was picking on someone weaker than him. It was despicable.

Lute had made her mind up. She would do whatever it took to protect Princess Dorothy.

A smile appeared on Jade Immortal's face. He spoke excitedly, "I see that the match is not going to happen today, Lute Belle. Let's see how many of these fiend idiots we can take down later."
