The room's decoration was elegant, and the room was filled with an alluring scent. The lights by the bed were switched on, but no one was around.

'She's not here?' Darryl frowned.

That could not be the case. Where else would Khloris be at that hour?

"Master?" Darryl took a deep breath and called out once again.

Darryl scanned the room and froze when his eyes eventually landed on the duvet.

He noticed some flower petals and undergarments sitting on top of the bed. Judging from how creased the undergarments were, it was easy to guess that Khloris had worn those on that day.
