The two female disciples returned, and one of them held the Detox Pill.

"Deputy Sect Master! Here's the Detox Pill." The female disciple with the pill walked toward Khloris and said politely as she passed her the pill.

Khloris nodded as she reached out to accept the medicine.

"Hold up."

A figure flashed before them quickly and took the pill off her hand. His lips curved into a half-smile. It was Diego.

"What was that for?" Khloris was shocked and angry as she frowned and glared at Diego.

Darryl paused as his brows knitted together.

'What is Diego up to this time?' he thought.

"Diego!"

Jedidiah finally snapped to his senses as he glared at Diego and yelled at him, "What was that all about? Give the medicine back to the Deputy Sect Master."

Jedidiah was furious that Diego was messing around.

night. How is that not suspicious?

"Secondly, he said he was here for some training advice, which made even less sense to me. Why does he have to do it at this hour instead of during the day?"

The rest of the disciples nodded in agreement.

"What Diego said made complete sense."

"Right! Who would come here at this hour for mere advice?"

"This whole thing does seem to be suspicious."

Jedidiah fell silent and started having doubts upon hearing the discussions.

'Why does Diego challenge me every chance he gets? What's his problem?" Rage slowly seeped through Darryl's veins as he thought about that.

Darryl looked at Diego with a half-smirk as he said coldly, "My dear senior brother, what exactly are you trying to say?"

Diego's eyes sparkled with coldness as he spat, "You would know better than me since your intentions tonight are clearly harmful!"

Diego pointed at Khloris and said, "You're not here for any advice. You're here for a secret tryst with the Deputy! It's okay if you refuse to admit it, but the Deputy’s conditions said it all —her hair is still wet, she clearly just got out of the shower, is that not right?"

"The Deputy wanted to see you at this hour and even took a shower before seeing you. It's obvious what that whole thing is about," Diego said as he scanned Khloris from head to toe.
