"Quickly!"

Darryl shoved the herbs at the two women when he reached them. He looked solemn as he said, "There's no time to make the pills; you'll just have to eat the herbs raw. This will counter the Bone Weakener's effects."

Celine and Queenie gulped the herbs.

Queenie stood rooted to the ground, confusion all over her face. "Why not?

This is the best chance to leave."

Darryl took a deep breath, looking at his surroundings as he spoke slowly," All three of US are incredibly weak. We won't be able to run very far, no matter how hard we try. He's going to catch up. It's not a good idea to run now."

Celine fell silent, pondering briefly before nodding in agreement. "That's right. If we leave now, he'll find US in the end."

Queenie grew anxious at the words, looking close to tears. "Then what should we do?"
