The Ultimate Husband (Darryl and Lily Lyndon) novel Chapter 4587

Chapter 4587

At that moment, more soldiers came from outside the Blazing Sun Gate to help.

Darryl realized that they would not be able to escape, so he had to bring Morticia and charge toward the Blazing Sun Gate.

Morticia was rather uncomfortable as Darryl grasped her wrist. She asked,' Who are you? Why did you save me?'

Darryl was wearing the Kaleidoscope mask, so Morticia did not recognize her.

Darryl sighed out of relief and chuckled. “It's nothing. I just can't stand those soldiers and generals' behavior." He looked calm, but deep down, he was furious.

'D*mn it! I did so much for the Godly Region. I even wiped out the fiend race. The gods are still not grateful, and they also wanted to kill me.'

Darryl was especially exasperated when he thought of Empress Heidi. She put him in the Sky Prison and sent soldiers and generals to the Nine Mainland to hunt him down.

'That's unacceptable!'

As the two of them spoke, they reached a desolate alley.

Morticia swung Darryl's hand off and said coldly, "I'm fine now. Thanks for what you did back there. Let's go our separate ways. What's your name? I'll thank you in the future when I have the chance.

'As one of the twelve Fiend Martyrs, how ridiculous it is to be pulled around by a man.'

However, Morticia had her principle-vengeance must be avenged, and kindness must be repaid.

"I..." Darryl pondered and squinted as he said, "My name is Darren Derby. You can call me Darren.”

Then, Darryl sized Morticia up and said, "It was nothing, but if you want to thank me, I won't say no to that. But how are you planning to thank me?"

He admired Morticia's beauty, and he exclaimed silently.

'What a beauty!'

Immediately, Morticia turned around and walked toward the outside of the Blazing Sun Gate.

As the slender figure walked further away, Darryl could not help but shout, ’ Hey, you don't need my help anymore? You won't be able to get out on your own."

Darryl was not joking. There were many soldiers at the Blazing Sun Gate. Even a fly could not escape, let alone her.

"No need!” Morticia said those words loud and clear without turning back.

Darryl did not know whether to cry or laugh; he shook his head.

'That woman is so stubborn.' As he muttered to himself, he saw a dozen soldiers running toward the alley.

"Search every alley!"

The entire Blazing Sun Gate is locked. They can't escape; they must have hidden in the city." Swoosh!
