Chapter 4709
Princess Sheila had thought it through. If Barely Immortal would not tell her where Finch was, she would report to Mother Empress that Barely Immortal and Finch had violated Heaven's rule.
On the other side, Darryl had reached the Jade Fairyland.
He was stunned when he entered Empress Heidi's bedroom. From there, he saw Empress Heidi sitting down graciously. The pale gold-colored silk dress embraced her curvy figure.
Even though the way she sat showed a hint of laziness, her supreme aura was not affected.
There was a maid who stood quietly beside Empress Heidi. Her name was Cloud Spirit-a confidant of Empress Heidi. She had always been beside Empress Heidi to take care of her personal needs.
At that point, Darryl was relieved. It seemed that Empress Heidi was not looking fortrouble.
"Your Ladyship, did anything happen for you to summon me?" Darryl smiled and asked politely.
Just as he finished the sentence, Cloud Spirit reprimanded him coldly. ’ Why didn't you execute the kneeling and bowing ceremony when you saw Her Ladyship? Where are your manners and respect?"
Cloud Spirit had always felt proud and arrogant to be Empress Heidi's confidant. Even when she knew that the person she reprimanded was Heavenly Immortals, she still disregarded him.
Darryl felt angry and amused at the same time to see how arrogant Cloud Spirit treated him.
'How interesting! Empress Heidi had not even requested me to kneel down, and a maid like you dare to raise your voice at me.'
Empress Heidi waved her hand and smiled. "That's enough. Barely Immortal is a Heavenly Immortal and also Prince Aurin's master. There's no need for him to kneel down."
After that, she hinted to Cloud Spirit to place a chair for Darryl. Despite being unwilling, Cloud Spirit still did as she was told.
At that point, Darryl was puzzled. 'What? What situation is this? Empress Heidi had never liked me. What's her reason for changing her attitude and being nice to me?'
Just when Darryl was about to ask, he was interrupted by someone else.
"Mother Empress!" Princess Sheila shouted out before even reaching the bed chamber.
Darryl's face expressed how lost he was with Princess Sheila's question while his heart mumbled, "What did you say? My disciple? Finch? I don't have any disciples by the name Finch."
After that, Darryl looked at Empress Heidi and continued, "The only disciple I have is Prince Aurin."
Finch was just a person he made up, so he needed to act like that person never existed.
Princess Sheila's body shook, and her head started to buzz. 'What? Finch is not his disciple? Then who was that taking a bath in my brother's fairyland?' "No! That's impossible!" Princess Sheila quickly reacted and said, rHe told me he was your disciple. Why don't you admit it?"
Darryl smiled and ignored Princess Sheila.
At the same time, Empress Heidi was clueless too.
"Sheila, what are you talking about? What disciple? Who's Finch?"
She looked at Darryl subconsciously with questions all over her eyes. Sheila was a naughty and playful girl, but she would never lie. There must be something else going on.
