Darryl did not know if he should be laughing or crying when Princess Sheila asked about Finch again. 'Guess that spoiled princess is still unable to forget Finch.'
He put on a serious face and said, "You had asked me when I was at Her Majesty's bedchamber, and I told you, I don't have a disciple by the name, Finch. I only have one disciple, and that is Prince Aurin."
Darryl took a peek at the elixir cauldron and continued to speak, "Princess, I am in the middle of a discussion about producing an elixir with Jadie Spirit. I hope you will not disturb us. Please go back to sleep."
"What if I don't want to do that?" As always, Princess Sheila was being unreasonable. "I will go anywhere I want. Stop messing with my business."
After that, Princess Sheila thought deeply and mumbled to herself, "That's weird. Did that person lie to me? Is his name Finch?"
'Such an annoying person!' Since Princess Sheila was mumbling to herself, Darryl decided to ignore her and went back to the elixir cauldron.
When he reached the cauldron, he said to Jadie, "Ignore her. Let's continue."
Jadie bit her lower lip and nodded in agreement. She thought, 'Luckily, Barely Immortal is here to control and stand up to her. Only he has the authority and power to do it. Otherwise, she will make a mess in the room.'
Even though she was in her own thoughts, she continued to regulate the flame carefully.
"Hey!" By that time, Princess Sheila had come out from her own world. She was quite angry when Darryl and Jadie ignored her. She strode into the room and asked loudly, "What elixir are you producing?"
"Just a normal elixir," Darryl replied faintly.
Princess Sheila asked again, "What effect does it have?"
Darryl laughed. "Princess, please stop asking since you know nothing about producing elixir. Go and play somewhere else."
'Oh, no!' Darryl suddenly felt like he had a headache. 'Princess Sheila is uncontrollable. She should know better than that. Producing elixir is not a game. Each material has its own power, and some of them are mutually reinforcing. If she is not careful with it, a catastrophe might happen.'
Darryl quickly coaxed her. "Princess, I was wrong. Why don't I teach you how to produce an elixir when I have time to spare? I have a few questions to discuss with Jadie at the moment. Can you please give us some space?"
Darryl was already on the verge of exploding, but he restrained it and tried to be nice to Princess Sheila. Jadie did not know if she should laugh or cry at that moment. She wanted to comfort the princess, but on the other hand, she was scared that the princess would be angry with her, so she did not do it.
"No!" Princess Sheila had already had some fun and was not about to leave. She shook her head. "I don't want to go. I'll do mine, and you do yours. We'll just mind our own business."
Then, she increased the power of the flame.
'Oh, no!' Darryl panicked as the flame continued to get stronger. He realized that most of the materials Princess Sheila took had cold attributes. It was forbidden to have so many cold-attributed materials in a single cauldron.
