Darryl had been in the cultivator's world for years, he naturally understood what Princess Sheila was thinking. However, he was anxious.

"Princess!"

Darryl chuckled bitterly and said defeatedly, "Please calm down, I had no intention of lying to you."

"No intention?" Princess Sheila was overwhelmed with emotions. "You knew I had been looking for you the past few days, yet you've been hiding the truth from me. Wasn't that evil enough?"

Princess Sheila interrogated, "Why did you pretend to be an old man?"

Darryl contemplated for a brief moment before responding, "Princess, I have my reasons. Think about it, the Empress would be worried if I were to go to the Jadeite Fairyland looking like I do with all the fairies around. That's why I decided to dress as an old man."

Darryl said seriously but he was feeling utterly anxious.

'Fortunately, Princess Sheila had no idea that I'm Darryl. I need to calm her down, if word got out about tonight's incident, I'll be done for.' Darryl thought.

Princess Sheila contemplated upon hearing what Darryl said before she chuckled and said, "You're saying you had no other choice?"

Darryl nodded quickly.

"Fine." Princess Sheila said arrogantly with her arms crossed before her chest. "I'll believe you for now, but how are you going to pay for the fact that I had been looking for you all over the past few days?"

Darryl felt defeated, he sighed and smiled forcibly as he responded, "Princess, the reason I hid the truth from you was because I didn't want to risk getting exposed. You're such a smart and kind Princess, please forgive me this time!"

Darryl got an idea and continued on, "You can request anything from me, I'll do my best in fulfilling them if they're doable!"

As long as the Princess kept his identity a secret, Darryl was willing to do anything.

"Anythig at all?" Princess Sheila's eyes sparkled as he looked at Darryl with a cunning expression.

Princess Sheila stood up and released the ropes off Darryl and said, "Get me some hot water then, I'm going to take a hot bath!"
