At that time, Marvin's wounds were already dressed. After eating Coleman's grilled fish, he meditated, trying to heal himself. However, his injuries were severe, and he could not heal them with meditation.
"Marvin, how are your injuries?" Coleman said, concerned, after seeing how bad Marvin's face was.
Marvin took a deep breath. Then, he said weakly and solemnly, "Damn it. My heart vessels are impaired. I can't heal with meditation. I need the healing elixir to treat my injuries." He was outraged. They had used up all the healing elixirs as they were fleeing.
Coleman scowled and shook his head as he realized what was going on. Nothing could happen to Marvin, their leader. However, Muslong Lake was out of nowhere; there was nothing except jungles. There was nowhere for them to look for a healing elixir.
Selina took the courage and said, "If you want to get a healing elixir, I can get it for you. You just need to let me go. My family had a few pharmacies in town."
As soon as she finished her sentence, Ronny quickly yelled, "That's right. You just need to let us go, and we will bring healing elixirs to you." His face seemed honest, but his eyes sparkled with trickery. He had thought about it—once he returned to the town, he would report it to the authorities and let the constable arrest the bandits.
Coleman walked forward and slapped Ronny unexpectedly. "F*ck you! Shut up!" Coleman looked vicious. He continued to yell at Ronny, "Do you think we are stupid? Instead of healing elixirs, I know you will get the constable to arrest us, right?"
Ronny felt awkward when Coleman exposed his plan. He covered his face, feeling helpless. He thought for a while and said, "Do you want money? I can give you money; I have a lot of money. Please, let us go."
Coleman's face was full of contempt. He said coldly, "Do you think I'm a beggar? Who cares about that little bit of money?" After that, he slapped Ronny again.
