When the Crazy Sphinx found out that the doctor needed to use Yellow Scale Grass to treat Darryl, he quickly went to look for it. As one of the fiercest beasts, he could easily fly into the sky and dig an underground tunnel. Picking the Yellow Scale Grass from the cliff was a piece of cake for him.

In the morning, the Crazy Sphinx flew across the Cryolet Continent, and he finally found it at the cliffs of a mountain. He did not hesitate and picked every single one of them. Then, he rushed back to the hut without taking a break. Finally, he returned back to the hut at midnight.

He put the Yellow Scale Grass outside the door and hid in the bamboo field again. He believed that if it was not for Darryl, he could have been captured alive by the Godly Eagle Sect.

That was why he decided to watch over Darryl with perseverance even if he could not be beside him. He also wanted to protect him in the dark.
