Yet, Darryl could not forget how Selina's cousin brother, Ronny, had taken advantage of his privilege and status to pick a bone with Darryl constantly.
When Darryl saw Ronny, he could not help but frown. He had thought that he would never have to see that rich b*stard again, yet they had once again crossed paths.
Darryl came to a realization after giving the situation some contemplation.
He recalled that Ronny had previously revealed how he had entered the Heavenly Dragon Sect using his family's social standing. No wonder the name Heavenly Dragon Sect's name sounded familiar.
Darryl was thinking to himself when he saw the girl standing next to Ronny and found himself unable to look away.
The girl was approximately 20 years old. She was wearing a soft pink skirt that accentuated her beautiful features and curves, and she looked sharp. She stood there unmoving, staring at the symbols on the wall with a dazed expression.
It was Ronny's senior sister, whom Darryl had met once before, Sandra Swanson.
When Ronny invited Selina for a trip, Darryl had gone along, and Sandra had been there too. Darryl remembered that Sandra looked weak but was an incredibly strong woman.
After that, Sandra showed an incredibly strong side when the bandits ambushed them. That made people respect her even more.
Sandra was also a rare beauty.
She seemed to have only gotten more charming since he last saw her.
Darryl only snapped back to his senses after a few seconds of staring. Then he walked toward them with a smile. He was confident that none of them would have guessed that he would become the head of the Elixir Sector at the Pure Yang Division.
Ronny was talking to the people next to him while Sandra marveled at the wall art. None of them noticed Darryl approaching them from behind.
"Hello, there!"
Before reaching them, Darryl smiled and said, "It's been a while since we last met, hasn't it?"
Everyone, including Ronny and Sandra, was startled at the voice before they turned around.
Motherf*cker!
Darryl's attitude angered Ronny instantly. He cried out, "You b*stard! You must have escaped the Stanford household out of guilt and insecurity. I guess you're not completely in denial."
Ronny's gaze flashed coldly as he scoffed, "Guess you're pretty lucky to be able to join the Pure Yang Division. But I'm pretty sure all you're good for is running errands around here or cleaning, right?"
Ronny's gaze was full of mockery. He thought Darryl knew he was not a good match for Selina, which was why he had left the Stanford household. How could a good-for-nothing like that become a disciple of the Pure Yang Division?
He had to be some errand boy.
Yes, that was definitely the case.
At the thought, Ronny said in an utmost haughty tone, "We're guests here. If there's nothing you need, get out of here."
The Wild Crane Restaurant was a place in the Pure Yang Division that was used to host guests, and no one was allowed there without permission. On top of that, Darryl had broken in on his own as an errand boy. How disrespectful!
