Darryl smiled at Frankilda and nodded.
He drank the entire jar of wine in a matter of seconds. He was good at drinking, but Darryl was the one he had to compete with.
Darryl smiled and said, "Frankilda, go on."
Then, he opened another jar of wine and gulped it down.
"All right, then!"
Frankilda nodded and drank from another jar of wine. However, he only drank half of it before he could no longer stand. His body shook; he could collapse at any moment.
Finally, Frankilda could not keep going any longer. He set the wine jar down and said admiringly, "Mr. Darby, you are a fantastic drinker. I am ready to admit defeat."
Darryl looked around, a faint smile on his face, and asked, "Who else wants to compete with me?"
"Me!"
Several men shouted as soon as he finished speaking.
Darryl remained silent. Whoever challenged him would immediately pick up the wine jar and drink. Many men became inebriated in less than ten minutes and had to withdraw from the challenge.
Frankilda sat there looking admiringly at Darryl at the time. "Mr. Darby, you are a fantastic drinker. Today has broadened my horizons."
As he spoke, he pointed to Goliry, who was bound to the pillar, and said, "Mr. Darby, it appears to be fate. That lovely lady is yours."
The men around him nodded as soon as he finished speaking. They were envious of Darryl. However, they did not have a choice. After all, Mr. Darby was so good at drinking.
Alas!
However, Darryl sighed and smiled bitterly. "The purpose of this competition is to have a good drink with you guys. I didn't expect I would win.
"Since it's fated, I won't refuse the offer."
When he said that, Darryl still looked unsatisfied.
Frankilda and the other leaders were depressed after hearing that. 'We drank to enjoy that beauty for ourselves. But Mr. Darby just wanted to drink, and he thought nothing of the woman. It seems like that comparison hurts.'
