With a flick of his wrist, Andres produced another dagger in his hand. He targeted it at Darryl's right arm.
Darryl was shocked, and his eyes reddened at that moment. 'What a heinous and shameless man.' He wondered if he should be struggling to loosen the ropes since his injury had nearly healed after two hours of rest. For him, it would be a piece of cake.
Suddenly, there was a flurry of footsteps outside the monastery. According to the light footsteps, there were a lot of them, and they should be the community's elites.
Andres was shocked. He immediately stopped and thought, 'Did the Four Seas Alliance find out that Frankilda was killed? Did they send their great warriors to look for the murderer?'
Even though Andres was confident in his strength and abilities, he was aware that he was not the strongest and that he would be unable to defeat all of the Four Seas Alliance's warriors if they came prepared. As a result, he gave Darryl a cold stare and lowered his voice. "You are extremely fortunate. You are off the hook for the time being." He put his dagger away and walked away. He leaped to the roof of the monastery's entrance without breaking a sweat.
Darryl exhaled after Andres left. 'Damn it. How close was that? I nearly exposed my power.' In the meantime, he was also curious who could have arrived at that run-down monastery at that hour. 'Forget about it. I better take the chance to recover my power.' Then he continued resting with his eyes shut while also keeping an eye out for what was happening outside.
Elsewhere, outside the run-down monastery, Andres jumped onto the roof of the entrance. He took a look with furrowed brows.
Several dozens of men were making their way toward the monastery. They were all armed with longswords. The group's leader was over 50 years old and dressed in a long black robe. His aura gave the impression that he was a powerful man. He was Angera Porlick, the North Sea Galaxy's Great Elder.
